2.GAME RULES
QUALIFYING ROUND : Round Robin
FINAL ROUND : Single Elimination / Double Elimination for Day 2 Single Game
FINAL ROUND : Single Elimination / Double Elimination for Day 2 Single Game
Round Limit & Rules
- ·501, 701, 901 and Cricket are 15 rounds.
- ·Cricket Count-up is 8 rounds and 1101 game is 20 rounds.
- ·Choice is either 01 or Cricket.
Playing Order Decision
- ·Throwing order of the 1st LEG will be decided by corking.
- ·The coin toss function of PHOENIXDARTS Machine will be used for deciding who throws the cork first.
- ·The player who throws closer to the center of the BULL can decide the throwing order.
If the first player's dart hits the exact center of the BULL, the second player is required to verify the location, remove the first player's dart, then throw the cork. - ·The winner of the cork can decide the throwing order of the 1st LEG.
Second Leg : Loser of the previous leg throws first.
(5sets are in the same way) - ·For the CHOICE leg, coin toss function of PHOENIXDARTS Machine will be used for deciding who throws the cork first. The player who throws closer to the center of the BULL can decide the throwing order, choose game or throw first.
- ·For double / team match, players are not allowed to switch throwing order on following leg.
How To Decide The Winner
If a game is not completed within the round limit, we will decide the winner as below.
- 01 GAME
- ·Team with the lowest point total wins.
- ·In case of draw, the team with a higher PPD wins.
- CRICKET
- ·Team with the highest point total wins.
- ·In case of draw, the team with a higher MPR wins.
- ·In case of identical MPR, the team with first thrown will win.
- HOW TO DECIDE WHO ADVANCES FROM THE ROUND ROBIN TIE SCORE
- ·Higher number of winning set
- ·Lower number of loss set
- ·Higher number of winning legs
- ·Lower number of loss legs
- ·Higher Count-Up
- ·In event of draw, winner will be automatically decided by machine’s system
3.RULES AND REGULATIONS
Rule for Entry and Attitude
- ·Other soft dart (other than PhoenixDart) brand’s logo, badges, symbols and event logo are strictly prohibited inside tournament area.
- ·Smoking / vaping is strictly PROHIBITED in the event hall.
- ·Players feet must not exceed throwline during play.
- ·Players or guests found disrupting the event will be removed from the competition area.
- ·Outside foods and drinks are not allowed in the event hall.
Attire
- ·All players are required to dress appropriately.
- ·No shorts, singlets, shoulder baring clothing, dresses and/or skirts above knee level, sandals and/or slippers.
- ·Players caught breaching the dress code will be removed from the competition area.
Pre-Game
- ·Phoenix Cup Officials will announce all games over the P.A system in the competition area.
- ·All games should start within 5 minutes from the announcement.
- ·Only three (3) reminders announcement will be given to player whom failed to attend to the match area within 5 minutes.
- ·Players are allowed up to 6-darts for warm up before each match.
Scoring and Match Rules
- ·All method of scoring will be recorded via the electronic machine’s sensors.
- ·Darts thrown before a players turn will not be registered or accepted.
- ·In the event of machine malfunction, faulty or complaints, players should stop the game play immediately and report to PHOENIX CUP officials for judgement. Complaints and dispute lodged after the match ended will be ignored.
- ·Following Legs will be played first by loser of first leg played.
- ·Starter for deciding leg if required will be decided by Cork/Closest to bull by the loser of the previous leg.
- ·All Round Robin games must be completed for placement.
Game Recording and Reporting
- ·Player must report their play stats and results themselves at the control center after each match.
- ·Players whom fail to report scores or matches will be disqualified.
- ·All other reports and complaints made after a match is complete will also be ignored.
- ·Kindly contact our officials for further assistance if required.
- *Organizer reserved the right to disqualify players who violates above mentioned rules.
